LSWT Part One
Legos, the apex of the building block genre. How does one enjoy the model after they are built. How about today, we make a game using these pieces. Well let us look at lego's most successful product line, lego starwars. Lego star wars has 890 sets, with 1328 different minifigures. We will use this line to make our game, "Lego Star Wars Tabletop". The Abstract: We are going to make a tabletop game sort of like warhammer, or star wars legions but with our own little twist. You have your minifigures fight other minifigures, go accross the map, interact with terrain, and complete objectives. Starting out, premade minifigures will have their own stats, but as we grow more complex each figure's part will have individual statistics(Sush as different blasters and armors do different things). The Map: We are going for a large map, our measurements we will use studs, a standard map is 2x2 grey baseplates(each one being 48 studs by 48 studs). Hopefully players would build maps ...
